Gnomes, gnomes, and more gnomes

Gnome circle time at Singing Cedars has inspired us to sew gnomes from wool felt.

I came across an inspiring photo of a gnome with a knit hat on one of my new favorite blogs,  The Magic Onions.  I'm not a super knitter, but I decided I had to try to figure out how to make this hat.  Lickety, splickety.. here is what I did...

Cut yarn leaving an 8 inch tail.
Weave through the last loop, pull to tie a knot. Use the tail to sew the hat up, top to bottom.

Now to dress them up!  Will keep you posted!
